We’re very, very sad to let you all know that our wonderful, much beloved and revered Ferme de Montagne is no longer with us. Very suddenly and entirely unexpectedly, she burned down on Wednesday morning the 20th of November 2024. We do not know how the fire started and fortunately, no one was in the building at the time. We are also pleased to report that the buildings around were saved.
We are feeling very sad and shocked and are quite devastated by the loss. There are so many happy memories of our many wonderful experiences with all the people who came to stay with us year after year. Ferme de Montagne was such a happy and joyful place and we know that those memories will stay with all of us. It is really like losing a very close friend. Ferme de Montagne was an iconic building in the village and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. . We will be doing our best to bring her back to life in the future.
